I just finished watching the pilot of the new series Chuck and I am already SO in love with it. More behind the cut.




CHUCK - Pilot

My first thoughts: I just finished watching the pilot and SO MUCH LOVE FOR ZACHARY LEVI!! Seriously, he's fantastic. And he wears Converse!! sahgdgjagd;dadgskjdsagd He's nerdy and funny and a total anti-hero. Yet he's completely believable as the main character. The show itself is action packed, thrilling, sensational and hilarious. At first I thought it looked a lot like Mission Impossible but there's so much original humour thrown in there you can hardly compare the two.

In the pilot you get: two Zac Levi showerscenes, Captain Awesome, Alec Baldwin (♥), awkward dates, a herd nerd, BFF Morgan, ninja moves, and so much more. I loved it all the way through. I did at first wonder if the idea for the show would be enough to fill an entire season (or more) but they nicely covered that at the end of the episode, giving an eaplanation for Chuck's true potential. Also, one of the last scenes in the store made me LMAO You'll know what I mean once you see it too.

When Chuck opens an e-mail subliminally encoded with government secrets, he unwillingly downloads an entire server of sensitive data into his brain. Now, the fate of the world lies in the unlikely hands of a guy who works at a Buy More Electronics store. Instead of fighting computer viruses, he must now confront assassins and international terrorists.

With the government's most precious secrets in Chuck's head, Major John Casey of the National Security Agency (Adam Baldwin, "Firefly") assumes the the responsibilty of protecting him. His partner is the CIA's top agent (and Chuck's first date in years), Sarah Walker (Yvonne Strahovski, "Gone"). They'll try to keep him safe by trading in his pocket protector for a bulletproof vest. Also starring are Joshua Gomez ("Without a Trace") as Morgan, Chuck's best buddy, and Sarah Lancaster ("What About Brian?") as Chuck's ever-supportive sister, Ellie.
